Loving the whimsy!

Erica did a beautiful job of bringing the magic of watercolor to life for me. I was a little overwhelmed because it is all so new to me. Like, how do I get my paint wet enough to use but not too wet. And I don’t know what a “wash” is. We’re talking beginner like never held a paintbrush for decades! But I slowly but surely made my way through the getting-to-know-my-paints lessons. And it was great!

Definitely Do this Course!!

Having read all the other reviews so far so I can only add: I enjoyed it, I was inspired by it and I learned something new and/or aware of something I was not beforehand in every lesson. The one thing I would have liked was to see more of Erica's artwork, both as in inspiration and maybe as a step-by-step or counterpoint to the focus of the particular lesson. She's super talented!

Decent bits of information

I found the jumps in the video to be a bit distracting, unfortunately. Other than that, the material was presented in a clear and logical fashion, and I was able to gather up some decent bits of information that I'll be using in my watercolor journey.

Learned so many things!

What i loved most about this course was the painting planning section. It covered so many things that i had been wondering during my time painting. I do which we could see more examples of lessons in action. Specifically the fixing mistakes section.

View instructors work IRT

I wish the instructor would use a document camera or something similar during demonstrations. It makes it a lot easier to see their work as they are doing it.

What a Delight!

I loved this class! Erica is so pleasant and creates a warm, inviting environment to learn so many things. I really liked hearing about her own journey starting out with watercolors, because I felt the same about saving my journal for perfect art and I didn't know about layering. l enjoyed the lessons about finding your own style and the difference between copying and using references as well.

Redding Miss. BBs or Shelbys'blogs. The amount of information is amazing.

I have taken other classes and didn't find them enjoyable. The people that are at Foxsy seem to be interested in me as person and not only needing me to buy lots of paint. It has been a pleasure to be part of this. THanks Chucck
