This class was fun and challenging since I'm a total beginner but I didn't feel overwhelmed at all. I learned so much about using simple items to create different textures for painting walls - so very cool! Definitely will keep practicing this one.

excellent! very informative. I mean this as a compliment: while I envision my own style being very different from Shelby's I am able to learn the techniques in a way that I can apply. (Shelby's work is beautiful-I don't mean to discredit HER style.) Other teachers and tutorials give me their specific method, but I'm not as well prepared to synthesize the concept. (There...that's probably a better way to say it!)
