In this class, students will learn the tips and techniques for painting a rustic-style cottage door.

It is preferable that students have some prior knowledge of working with watercolors before they start with this painting.

After taking this class, the students will understand the basic techniques used, and they will be able to come up with their own variations of painting doors.

  • How to paint a bougainvillea tree
  • How to add shadows to create depth in your painting

Supplies You'll Need:

  • Round brush
  • Watercolor paints
  • 100% cotton watercolor paper
  • 2 jars of water
  • Cotton rag (or paper towels)

I just love doors!! This course teaches the layering of colors and shading , I truly enjoyed every minute !!

Persistance

I expected to dive in and have fun but it became apparent early that it was going to be a challenge. To help me thru the journey, I slowed the audio down to get the instruction correct. Great project and hope to do more of Megha's paintings.
