Class Description:

Students will learn how to paint a realistic autumn leaf. This class will show you how to use multiple layers of watercolor to simulate depth and dimension, creating a realistic effect.

This course is one of four in Megha’s latest series, Realistic Botanicals. Be sure to check out the rest of the series, where students will learn how to paint an acalypha leaf, a bird of paradise, and a bottle brush flower.

What You Will Learn:

  • How to use a reference to paint an object
  • Use multiple mediums to create a dynamic piece of art
  • Work with multiple layers of watercolor to create a realistic painting

Supplies You'll Need:

  • Round brush
  • Thin round brush
  • Watercolor paints
  • 100% cotton watercolor paper
  • 2 jars of water
  • Cotton rag (or paper towels)

She is following her dream, and she helps artists explore the talent within through her courses, classes, and creative community.
