In this class, you’ll learn how to accomplish this beautiful glow with a few different methods.

From selecting your colors to pushing contrast levels, each step will be demonstrated and then practiced together to ensure you understand how to achieve this luminous technique.   • 100% cotton, 140lb watercolor paper
  • Variety of round paintbrushes (different sizes)
  • Variety of angled paintbrushes (different sizes)
  • Masking fluid
  • Two containers of water
  • Palette for mixing colors
  • Paper towels or a clean cloth
  • Light pencil
  • Soft eraser
  • Opt. Heat tool or hair dryer (for speeding up drying times)
  • Watercolor paints

Its really ethereally enjoyable!

I did this course after I finished a similar project in the Watercolour Academy as I find the things that glow are a fascinating subjects for this medium. Shelby is very thorough and explains things well and I find watching her process insightful and lovely to watch. By watching this, I added to my knowledge of this technique and look forward to using it.
