Great details - I learned so much!

I thought this class was very thorough and entertaining as well. I feel like I understand the differences between the drawing mediums now, and what each kind can accomplish. I had collected a bunch of drawing items over the years with no real understanding of how to use them, so this class was perfect for me -- explaining the tools, mark-making, and how to choose quality items.

Not just the Basics

Shelby uses her wealth of experience and knowledge to drill down into the essentials, and then take it to the next level by introducing other items that may be lesser known to folks. She is very open to listening and trying different suggestions and making it feel like you are with friends trying out new ways to use the tools she has.

Great class!

Loved the information, especially how to prioritize purchases. The only thing I would say is that sometimes reference is made to a handout or printable; I wish that was available to those of us who watch the class later.
