Finally, you will learn specific exercises and techniques that will help you uncover and develop your own unique style. By the end of this class, you will be closer than ever to finding your one-of-a-kind art style that defines your body of work.

What You Will Learn:

  • An overview of different art styles, including key characteristics and notable artists associated with each.
  • How factors such as proportion, color, technique, and subject matter influence art styles.
  • Strategies for reflecting on your influences and preferences to develop your personal style.
  • A practical exercise to explore artistic interpretation through a 30-drawing challenge.

  • Sketchbook or drawing paper
  • Pencils (preferably HB or 2B for sketching)
  • Erasers
  • Optional: Colored pencils, markers, paints, or any favorite medium for exploration
