Learning how to draw eyes is a major hurdle for new artists to overcome, but it doesn’t have to be frustrating! Eyes are the windows to the soul, so learning how to capture them on paper is an important part of drawing portraits. With the right techniques, you can create lifelike representations that truly express emotion.

Throughout the session, I’ll guide you on how to structure your drawings for accurate eye placement and proportions. We’ll explore how to study eyes from different angles, focusing on bringing them to life with depth and detail. By the end of the class, you’ll have the skills and confidence to create beautiful, expressive eyes in your artwork!

Eager to do more Eye studies.

Thoroughly enjoyed following along, and truly grateful for the Live Replay. Would be a good idea to invest in a set of actual graphite pencils, for better shading practice... =)

Eye Knows about Eyes Now!

I knew this course was going to be packed with information, but it was enjoyable and Shelby had plenty of tips and made it seem easy. The references were great and varied and gave a lot of opportunity to draw along with Shelby. She listens and encourages questions to which she answers in a manner reflecting her warmth and care.
