Want to challenge yourself? In this class, we'll explore the wet-on-dry technique; a painting method that gives you much more control over your brushwork and color placement. You'll learn how to manage moisture on your brush and create crisp, intentional strokes that let your painting style really shine through.
We'll practice these skills by painting some juicy citrus slices, and you'll get to see firsthand how the wet-on-dry technique gives you the precision you need to create bold, powerful paintings.

Shelby taught us how to create cute little slices of fruit using the wet-on-dry technique in real time. I also learned how to use a white gel pen to help create subtle shiny areas on my fruit slices. I may have overdone my gel pen use a bit but I'm really happy with how my fruit slices turned out! 🙂
