In this class, tackle the unique challenges of depicting two human figures interacting within the same space. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, you'll learn essential techniques for maintaining accurate proportions, positioning multiple figures harmoniously, and addressing common compositional struggles. 

Whether you’re drawing romantic couples, family members, or good friends, this class will help you figure out how to capture them in your sketchbook without pulling your hair out in frustration.

What You Will Learn:

  • An overview of different art styles, including key characteristics and notable artists associated with each.
  • How factors such as proportion, color, technique, and subject matter influence art styles.
  • Strategies for reflecting on your influences and preferences to develop your personal style.
  • A practical exercise to explore artistic interpretation through a 30-drawing challenge.

  • Sketchbook or drawing paper
  • Pencils (preferably HB or 2B for sketching)
  • Erasers
