No, no, no! This is a safe haven away from all of that stuff.

I understand where you’re coming from, but it would be nice to have a place where politics is left at the door. I suspect that this is a no win situation for you Shelby. So if it is to be in here somewhere can it be clearly labelled so that those of us who want a politics free space can avoid it. Life is challenging and people are becoming more polarised and unwilling to listen to other point of views and yes art can be political, but I’m here for a de-stress and learning about my art and not about what’s going on in the world for the short space of time I can have a time out for.

Thanks for adding your two cents, Kate!

No politics for me. There is enough anger and divisive rhetoric everywhere else I turn to online.

No thank you, not for me. I would rather avoid it here. But I understand that some might want to explore the intersection of art and politics, so as long as it’s kept contained and I have the choice to avoid it if I wish then I’m OK with it.

Honestly, this is a safe place, a sanctuary, a wealth of content for our mental health. I would be grateful if this was one place where people could help each other out, lift each other up, and spread kindness.
Politics is going to continue to hit us in the face everywhere else whether we like it or not. I would be grateful if this was one place that could continue to be a sanctuary.

Are you saying it seems difficult to avoid?

I don’t think foxy foxy Den foxy academy any of it needs a political forum. There’s enough politics out there for anybody that wants them. Now if an artist wants to use politics in their art they can go for it that I don’t care but as far as discussing politics or the political mayhem that’s going on foxy is not the place for it. Not now not ever in my opinion. But if you want to represent politics in your art go for it have at it that is totally up to you but I don’t think it needs to be discussed here we all need a break from it and I am not on social media I don’t watch the news I don’t read the news I get most of it from here safe and my family or friends but I don’t want any more of it than what I already get the world’s getting to be a sad place and I think we need to keep foxy light and upbeat and politics won’t do that.

My vote is a definite NO. Foxsy is our happy place where we can create and learn in a supportive environment away from all the noise in the world, and I’d like to keep it that way!

Heard! Thanks for your thoughts!
