Some Experience – I've tried a few things

Chaos! Art for me is an escape from the highly structured and regulated world I live and work in. My goal isn’t even really to get ‘better’, but to try things, create things, make mistakes, and break the rules 😀

Oh so many favorites, though my real favorite is the hunt to find something new while thrifting!

• Sketchbooks: I like the Michael’s house brand (Artist’s Loft) Mixed Media books in the A4 size. They do get a bit chunky with my junk journalling though!
• Pens: Figma Micron and Zebra F-301
• Markers: Crayola, Papermate Flairs, Pentel Color Pen Fine Point, Marvy Art Director 1400 (discontinued I think)
• Acrylic paint: Artist’s Loft again, it’s thick, pigmented, and dries fast which I like
• Colored pencils (probably my favorite tool): Prismacolor, Artist’s Loft, Spectracolor (discontinued), SIVO (discontinued)
• Watercolors: Crayola, Prang, and the Crayola watercolor pencils
