Through plenty of examples showcasing different styles, this course aims to open up the world of lettering so you have a heap of possibilities at your fingertips.

What You Will Learn:

An understanding of four major types of fonts – Serifs (traditional), Sans-serifs (modern), Scripts (flowy), and Decorative (funky).
How contrast plays a key role in pairing different styles effectively.
Practical demonstrations including variations like upright vs slant; sleek vs messy; formal vs fun; and smooth vs gritty within one family.
Techniques using pen tip shapes for visual interest e.g., flat/round tips
Tips on drawing inspiration from graphics around you
