In this 30-minute hands-on class, you'll learn how to paint a beautiful peony from start to finish. We'll begin with drawing techniques to capture the peony's delicate form, then move into watercolor application using a soft wet-in-wet wash as your foundation. From there, you'll build complexity through layering, using both negative painting and glazing techniques to create depth and visual interest. This is a great opportunity to tackle a visually complex subject and expand your watercolor skills.
