My favorite brushes are Black Velvet Silver round brushes but I use mop brushes sometimes when I paint larger pieces.

This is my colored pencil piece from April 30

I love to complete a small drawing or doodle. I can work all the way through without getting lost in the details. And, in this case, I also get to color (another favorite pastime).

This looks so great!! You really got some clean lines on the swords and great depth on the skull. Something that you might want to try next time is painting the first layer totally in white. That will make the yellow pop more strongly against the black. Layering a light color on a dark base can be tricky, but I think you did splendid.…
